Britany Vinson is the owner and head chef of Tome', an acronym for "The Ordinary Made Extraordinary". Tome' offers ample services from drive-thru portioned meals, meal prep, catering, and vending options. The client needed funding to expand her business to include a Nacogdoches location and vending services, so she sought Angelina SBDC for help. The SBDC assisted the client with a business plan and documentation. The SBDC was able to help Vinson acquire funding from a private investor, add three full-time positions and retain 16 full-time positions. As a result, sales increased by $1,240,000. In April 2020, the SBA awarded Vinson  the 'Women-Owned Business of the Year" award.

Just like what I do with a car, I can figure out how to fix about any system that needs repairing. And I've learned that you need to find the right people for your team to turn your business dreams into a reality – thank you, SBDC!

The best thing about VtSBDC is having an advisor who provides a listening ear and a solution based mindset, and understands small business.
