MILLENNIALS + GEN-Z

Without the help of the SBDC and Tracy Baker, I wouldn't have known where to start with this process. Having her there to assist me right from the beginning, made me feel like purchasing this business was actually going to become a reality.

COVID-19 RESPONSE

The SBDC deserves a huge thank you from me and my company. The knowledge that they offered, not only about the grant process, information, and material needed but also about changes to my existing business going forward, was eye-opening.

I needed a mentor to work with me on something specific to get into my new place. Jeff went above and beyond to help me secure financing for a new location for my business, which was the communication of trust and faith in me, my idea, and my vision.

SPECIAL POPULATIONS

Moonlight Laserworks Brings Custom Engraving to Eastern Montana

Sarah Fischer was a chemist setting up a cement lab in Mexico when she met her husband and moved to Eastern Montana. She was first introduced to custom engraving at a trade show in Las Vegas and couldn't get the idea out of her head. Her husband encouraged her to pursue the idea, and she reached out to the Wolf Point SBDC for help. Sarah accessed Liveplan through the SBDC to develop her business plan and financials to approach the bank for gap financing. Her first six months of sales exceeded what she expected to reach in the first year. Sarah competed in the SBDC Minnow Tank competition, and even though Sarah did not win, she left the event with more knowledge and purchased a new laser to widen her product selection.
